My history
My name is Matteo Bonetti, and I was born in Cremona on February 3, 1962. After graduating from the “Gaspare Aselli” scientific high school in my hometown, I pursued medical studies and specialized in Radiology at the University of Brescia.
My passion for medicine—especially for the neurological field—led me naturally to neuroradiology. From 1990 to 1998, I worked as a medical assistant in the Second Radiology Department of the Civil Hospitals of Brescia, under the direction of Professor A. Chiesa, in the Neuroradiology Section. Those were crucial years during which I devoted myself with great enthusiasm and determination to interventional spinal neuroradiology.
This fascinating and complex branch of medicine gradually became the core of my professional activity. To this day, I continue to work in this field with the same commitment and curiosity as I had back then, now serving as Director of the Neuroradiology Department at the Istituto Clinico Città di Brescia.
Every day, my work is dedicated to people: listening to them, making accurate diagnoses, and finding effective solutions—with the goal of improving my patients’ quality of life.
